Ian is a craftsman with 37 years of experience in the business, the last sixteen as Chamberlain Carpentry and Joinery, Taupo. Ian and his experienced team of tradesmen do all types of work from building houses and renovating residential and industrial properties, to crafting original furniture in quality timber such as rimu, kauri and oak.

“If you can’t buy it, we can make it” A lot of people build or buy a house and go looking for that special piece of furniture, but can’t find it or it doesn’t fit. We can make anything to order, including coffee tables, dining tables, wardrobes, dressers and kitchen benches.”

The team can also put the finishing touches to new interiors, like special timber panelling and mouldings, and we are the people to talk to if you require shopfitting too.
