Certified Plans home
This home was built from our NZCB Certified Plans range, with several changes made to better suit the customer’s lifestyle and needs. By adapting the plan and adding carefully selected features, we were able to create a home that is both practical and comfortable for everyday living.
One of the key additions was underfloor heating, supplied by a main gas boiler installed by Central Heating NZ. This provides consistent warmth throughout the home and adds an extra level of comfort, especially through the colder months.
The study has also proven to be a valuable part of the design, giving the owner a dedicated space to work from home while still keeping a strong connection to the rest of the house. Small changes like this can make a big difference in how well a home works for everyday life.
To further improve the durability of the build, we installed ply to the entire exterior of the house before the bricks were laid. This added strength to the structure, helped protect the home over the long term, and reduced the risk of unwanted moisture or pests getting into the wall cavity.
The end result is a well-built, comfortable home that combines the benefits of a proven plan with the flexibility to personalise the design where it matters most.
